My friend and local musician Andy Russo and STRUMBERRY PIEreached out about doing a concert for Scottie. We were already on the same page, I was going to reach out to him also! So we made some plans and created an awesome event at Pagano's UVA Restaurant and Wine Bar. The Pagano's are family friends. Gems of the community.
Soon the concert started to take shape... Stringbean Blues joined in.... then one of the first guys I hired when I started working in the business years ago, Wayne Kessler and his duo, Fast Forward... along came a friend of mine I met at Cream Ridge Winery where we swapped stories and shared musical memories. A musical soul mate, if you will, Ronnie Brandt Music. Add in my old across the street neighbor from the early 2000's Pat Roddy and we have got ourselves a SHOW, folks!
My daughter will also be playing a couple of tunes to open.
Thank you to all of these outstanding local artists and all around good human beings for wanting to be a part of this.
It's going to be a blast, this first in a series of concerts supporting the Strong to the Marrow mission.
